FAQ

CyberCertify is the learning management system of Cyber Security Training and Consulting LLC. The courses and certifications are all developed by the company and integrated into the platform. We currently do not offer courses from other training providers but we welcome those with specialized content to contact us for possible partnering.

We use a variety of controls to protect the site and customer data.

Some of our security features include the use of a Web Application Firewall (WAF) that identifies and blocks malicious traffic. It runs at the endpoint, enabling deep integration with our site. Our WAF does not break encryption, cannot be bypassed and cannot leak data. An integrated malware scanner blocks requests that include malicious code or content. We defend against brute force attacks by limiting login attempts, enforcing strong passwords and other login security measures such as soon-to-be-implemented mandatory use of two-factor authentication.

We also use real-time firewall rules and malware signature updates as well as the Real-time IP Blacklist, which blocks all requests from the most malicious IPs, protecting our site while reducing load.

Our scanner regularly checks for malware, bad URLs, backdoors, SEO spam, malicious redirects and code injections.

If you are locked out it’s likely because you either had too failed login attempts or you used the forgot password too many times.  In any case, fret not, you can try again in four hours or so from being locked out.

Courses are sold on a Per Seat basis and the base price varies across the 60 Seconds of Cyber series, the Cyber Crisis Management series, and the CMMC series.

Per Seat pricing simply means one (1) person. So, if you have 15 employees that need training you should select 15 seats.  Each product allows you to select a different number of seats.

  • Yes. We use Articulate Storyline to develop and publish courses.  By default we publish and present our courses based on the SCORM format.  We are happy to export these for local use.  As part of this process we embed an expiration date script.  Please contact us if you are interested in this.  Due to the extra effort required to customize each course we are forced to charge an extra fee for this value-added service.
  • Volumes predefined collections of courses we have put together to simplify buying.  When you buy a volume, you are buying the same number of seats for every course in the volume.
  • Bundles are collections of courses but you can choose whether or not to include a given course in your purchase. In addition, you can choose different numbers of seats for each of the courses in the bundle.

Once a user purchases the “Group Product” that specific user becomes the Group Leader.

Once the purchase is complete, a Group (with the Group Name if the user has entered it) with the default name same as the Product is created. This happens automatically.

Once the Group Leader views this page, there is a drop-down menu that will help the Group Leader select which group he/she wants to view/manage (in case the Group Leader is a leader of more than one Group).

Once, the Group Leader selects the Group he/she wants to view, the User Registrations Left for that particular group is shown under the name “User Registrations Left:”

Now, there are tabs the Group Leader will see on the Groups Dashboard Page.

The Enrolled Users Tab: This tab will essentially show the Group Leader all the Users enrolled in the particular Group and will also allow him/her to search for enrolled users and also remove or send invites to the enrolled users.

The Enroll New User Tab: As the name suggests, the Enroll New User tab allows the Group Leader to enroll new users into the group selected wither individually or in a bulk-upload fashion using a CSV file. While enrolling it allows the Group Leader to enter the first name, last name and the email address of the enrollees. CSV upload is toggled from the “Upload Users” tab within the Enroll New User Tab.

The Report Tab: This tab allows you to view student reports. All the Group Leaders need to do is select the which Course they want to view the student reports for using the drop-down menu within the Report Tab. A list of students with their reports will appear.

The Group Code Tab: This tab allows Group Leaders to create Group Codes for specific groups. The Group Code can be shared with users who can self-register using the Group Registration form.

Once the Group Leader clicks on the Create Group Code Button, a bunch of settings open.

The first one is the name of the Group Code, where you can manually enter it or “Generate” a new one.

The “From” & “To” is to define how long will the Group Code will be valid for.

The Validation Rules setting is to define which IP Address and Domain name you want to restrict the user registration to.

The Status Setting is just to activate/deactivate the Group Code at any time.

Note: If the “User Registrations Left:” is zero (0), the Group Leaders will not see the Enroll New User Tab. In this case the Group Leader can just purchase more seats of the same Product and the seats will automatically be added to their Group. Or, the admin can edit the Group and increase the Registrations from the “Group Registrations Left:” field.

Yes! When buying the courses simply use the Group option (as opposed to the Individual option).  As the buyer you are considered the Group Leader and will have access to a Group Dashboard.

In your Group Dashboard you can create as many Group Codes as you need (e.g., Executive Team, Amarillo Office, etc.) and associate the users/students to these unique groups.

Validation Rules
These are special rules that can be enforced when the group code is used for enrollment. There are 2 types of validation rules

Number of Enrollments
This is an optional field which is only accessible for groups that have unlimited seats. You can set the limit to the number of enrollments possible using the group code using this field.
